Coach Rene Torres

 

Coach Torres began coaching softball with the Moore Crush starting with T-Ball up to 12U fastpitch then became a coach with Ultimate 14U, 16U and 18U fastpitch.  Before coaching softball he coached and played in a men’s baseball program in the Costal Colligate League in California where he coached his team to two Las Vegas National Championships and was twice runner up at Men’s League World Series in Arizona.  Coach Torres attended Palo Alto Community College where he obtained an Associate’s degree in applied science.  Coach Torres has been coaching softball and baseball for the last 12 years and has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old.  Coach Torres has been coaching top level gold club teams for Ultimate for the last six years, along with assisting with lessons for slap hitters and assisting with player evaluations for the Ultimate organization.

Pitching/Hitting coach

Kimberly, played travel ball and league in Oklahoma City, at Putnam City Optimist, (PCO) from 1978 to 1983. An injury sidelined her in 83 from continuing her softball career in college. She went on to play competitive womens and co-ed slow pitch, on traveling tournament teams until 2010. She coached and played on a competitive womens team in 1991-1995.

 

She started her fast pitch coaching career in 1995 for her niece and continued on after her niece quit playing and is currently coaching the Oklahoma Ultimate Gold 18 and under.

Coach Whitney Cummings

 

Coach Cummings played high school ball a Tuttle High School, she lead her team to the state tournament 3 years as a pitcher and a power hitter.  In 2007 She pitcher the finals and hit a home run to help Tuttle win the 4A State Championship.  Whitney  led Tuttle in Home Runs in all 4 years.  In 2008 she accepted a Division 1 Scholorship to Tennesse Tech University where she led her team in Home Runs all 4 years.  Whitney graduated in 2012 with a degree in Micro Biology.  She currently works at OU Medical Center as a Micro Biologist.  seh was an assistant coach for 5 years with the Unltimate Organization, last year she stepped in othe head coach role for the Ultimate 98 team and had a successfull winning season.
